I'm a Football Widow

Well, I am officially a football widow for the next few months. Last night marked the kickoff to the NFL season, with the first “non exhibition” televised game. Forgive me if I’m not saying that right, clearly I am not the football aficionado in the house. Aside from the profanity laced yelling that goes on, I really don’t mind that Mr. V. becomes so engrossed in this game that I do not and will not ever care to understand. It’s really OK, because that just gives me more free time to spend on the things that I enjoy doing. It’s a fair trade, I think!

Well said Stacy! LOL, my DH just got NFL ticket (again), and a new HD plasma TV, so he is all set to watch every single football game out there! I don't mind it, like you I get to do my own thing, hehe. You Janna and I should Skype and bead while they watch, LOL!

Well said. Same here. Yesterday Husband was texting back and fourth with his brother. Usually they barely talk on the phone. I asked what they were texting about. The answer? "Football."
