This flowering plant grows in my backyard ~ it comes back every year, but I do not know the name of it. I guess I must be big on knowing the correct names of plants, because it really bugs me that I do not know what this is called!!

I think that might be a Pulmonaria longifoliaa - Longleaf lungwort. It looks like the leaves are spotted...which is one of the traits of this flower...and they start out pink and turn to blue, yes?
I agree. It's a wort of some kind. Does it like partial sun to shade?
It does best in shade and cooler weather.
