I've been experimenting with some metals other than Sterling Silver. I love the look of brass, and copper too! These earrings are the first I've done using natural brass. I am currently looking for interesting findings in brass and copper. So . . . stay tuned for some new creations!!

I made lots of jewelry today . . . and not much else, but that's OK!! I had the whole day to myself. The hubby had a pow-wow with the guys to go to. He needs to do that every now and then. I really need to organize my beads and my workspace! My motto these days is "So many beads, so little time"! I could literally make craploads of jewelry if I had the time to devote to it. That would probably get old, though. As much as I enjoy it, it really killed me to be inside on such a gorgeous day. It took me hours to make the pieces that I did do. "Alot" for me is like 10 things. Some people can churn out 50 pair of earrings in a few hours but I am a slow beader. I guess that's cuz I am such a perfectionist when it comes to making stuff, even when it's not for me. Especially when it's not for me!!

New and Improved

I used to blog like a mad woman, but I'll be the first to admit that I've gotten away from it. I'm working on updating this blog to make it more interesting. I'll try to add pictures of things other than my jewelry, too. :)
Aside from making jewelry, my other favorite thing to do is travel. Tony and my dream is to see as much of the world as we can. We've barely touched the tip of the iceberg. The picture above was taken last October in Montreal. We loved that city! That was easily one of my favorite trips ever. We have so many great memories of the people, architecture and places we saw there. And I must say, my husband is becoming quite the photographer!

I recently added this piece to my shop. I called it "Always a Bridesmaid". It is fitting for any formal occasion. Hell, if you're Always the Bridesmaid and Never the Bride, you might as well look stunning!!
